Carbon Impregnated Media

Taff-Guard carbon media is an effective solution for challenges ranging from mild ambient odors to smoke and fume removal. Consisting of synthetic media and an added impregnation of activated carbon.

• 20g - 1200g carbon densities

• 100% carbon or 50/50 blend

Bulk Carbon pellets

Taff-Guard bulk carbon pellets are an excellent solution for refilling carbon trays and other housings. Consisting of small pellets of activated carbon, used for demanding odour and fume removal.

Available in:

• Carbon Pellets

• Potassium Permanganate

• 50/50 Blend

Extended Surface Carbon Filters

Taff-Guard extended surface carbon fitlers are for applications that require odor and fume removal, as well as a long-lasting and/or high efficiency filter. These filters feature extended surface area of media, allowing for reduced pressure drop and more dust holding capacity.

Available in:

• Rigid cell or V-Bank configurations

• Various header configurations (Box, Single header & Double header)

• 100% carbon or 50/50 blend

Refillable Carbon Trays

Taff-Guard refillable carbon trays are metal housings that contain carbon pellets. They are an ideal solution for removal of heavy odors or fumes, where there is no particulate, or another stage of filtration is in place for particulate removal.

Available in:

• Individual Carbon tray or part of a V Bank configuration with multiple trays

• 100% Carbon or 50/50 blend

Heavy Duty Pleated Filters - 200 GRAMS

Taff-Guard heavy duty pleated carbon filters are an effective solution for challenges ranging from odours to smoke and fume removal. Each filter comes equipped with 200g of carbon media.

AVAILABLE IN:

• 100% carbon or 50/50 carbon blend

• Various densities (depending on thickness of filter)

Activated Carbon Filters

Activated carbon (or charcoal) media can be added to filters or used as its own stage in a filtration system for applications where odors and fumes need to be removed.

Filters with activated carbon additives are available in in varying densities of carbon, for different applications. For most odors and fumes, an activated carbon filter is sufficient. However, for certain cases, the carbon requires special additives: either activated alumina with a 5% impregnation of potassium permangante; or zeolite. Make sure to ask about your specific application to receive the correct blend.
