Taff-Guard carbon media is an effective solution for challenges ranging from mild ambient odors to smoke and fume removal. Consisting of synthetic media and an added impregnation of activated carbon.

Carbon media can be installed in frames that are designed for housing media pads, as well as any other suitable housings.

For most odors and fumes, an activated carbon filter, in the appropriate density, is sufficient. However, for certain cases, the carbon requires special additives: either activated alumina with a 5% impregnation of potassium permangante; or zeolite.
