Description:

Taff-Guard extended surface carbon filters are for applications that require odor and fume removal, as well as a long-lasting and/or high efficiency filter. These filters feature extended surface area of media, allowing for reduced pressure drop and more dust holding capacity.

For most odors and fumes, an activated carbon filter, in the appropriate density, is sufficient. However, for certain cases, the carbon requires special additives: either activated alumina with a 5% impregnation of potassium permangante; or zeolite. Please ensure to ask about your specific application to receive the correct blend.
