Refillable Carbon Trays
Taff-Guard refillable carbon trays are metal housings that contain carbon pellets. They are an ideal solution for removal of heavy odors or fumes, where there is no particulate, or another stage of filtration is in place for particulate removal.
Once the carbon pellets have been expended, the trays can be opened, the media disposed of, and new bulk carbon media can be used to refill the tray.
For most odors and fumes, an activated carbon filter, in the appropriate density, is sufficient. However, for certain cases, the carbon requires special additives: either activated alumina with a 5% impregnation of potassium permangante; or zeolite.
